Level up your professional skills in sake service and sales — earn your certificate in one day.
This one-day, in-person seminar (10am–5pm with a one-hour lunch break) teaches you the ins and outs of proper service and sales for sake in your restaurant or retail shop. There is no prerequisite — the course is open to anyone wishing to get trained in the professional service of sake.
After the one-day training, you'll have the option to complete an online course review and exam within two weeks. Upon successful completion, you'll receive the Sake Studies Center Sake Server Certification certificate.
The review and exam happen on our online exam portal — see how certification works. Employers can verify any certificate online.
As a graduate, you'll also have ongoing access to our free online sake community for the sake industry — ask questions and stay in touch with fellow sake students and industry leaders.
Ready to go further? This certification is the prerequisite for our two-day Advanced Sake Studies Certification, with hands-on brewing inside Brooklyn Kura.
