The Sake Studies Center at Brooklyn Kura ("we," "us") operates sakestudiescenter.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to answer your questions and run our classes, we don't run advertising trackers, and we never sell your information.
Inquiry forms. When you submit our private-class or off-site inquiry forms, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, and the event information you choose to share (dates, guest count, occasion, message). Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms (our website host) and delivered to us by email. We use them only to respond to your inquiry and plan your event.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is sent to Mailchimp, our email service provider, and used to send you our updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Bookings. Class and tour bookings are handled by our ticketing partner, AnyRoad. When you book, AnyRoad collects your name, contact details, and payment information under its own privacy policy — we never see or store your payment card details. AnyRoad shares attendee names and contact information with us so we can run your class.
Gift cards. Gift card orders are collected through a JotForm form, under JotForm's privacy policy.
Technical data. Like nearly every website, our host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. Our pages load fonts from Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, which receive your IP address in the course of serving the font files. We run no analytics or advertising trackers.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email info@sakestudiescenter.com and we'll take care of it.
Our classes involve alcohol and are open to guests 21 and over. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
